Research Assistant Rosie Crawford shortlisted for Two Archaeological Achievement Awards
REVERSEACTION’s Research Assistant, Rosie Crawford, has been shortlisted for the Early Career Archaeologist Award at the 2024 Council for British Archaeology Archaeological Achievement Awards! This award celebrates the contributions of an Early Career Archaeologist to archaeological work or research, dissemination, the workplace or a project, and the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion.
For her contributions to access and outreach in archaeology, Rosie’s social media platform has also been shortlisted for the Public Dissemination and Presentation Award. Her social media platform, JustALittleRoo, is a free, online access and outreach platform, designed to demystify the transition to higher education as a lower income student, and widen participation in archaeology and related fields. Since 2016, via JustALittleRoo, Rosie has provided free, internationally available careers resources, research tips, insider-views of archaeology and mini-lectures on archaeological topics.
Congratulations, Rosie, and best of luck for the awards ceremony on November 22nd.
